Newly renovated 2018.

A quaint affordable beach house awaits you for your next vacation at the beach. Pickle Palms has unobstructed ocean views across a very lightly traveled, almost private street (Topsail Rd.) looking at the glistening Atlantic Ocean. It provides all you need for a peaceful & relaxing vacation.

Located in North Topsail Beach, this nicely outfitted home has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Enjoy the sea breeze from the rocking chairs on the covered deck. Beach access is across the road just steps away from the sand and surf.

This home is one level. As you enter through the French doors you step in to the open floor plan kitchen, dining area and living room. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and everything else you need for your vacation. Off the kitchen is the living room with a queen size sofa sleeper.

The master bedroom is located off the living room to the left with a queen size bed and full bath with double sinks. To the right of the living room is the second full size bath and second bedroom with queen size bed. The bath room is separate from the bedroom.

This home has many amenities, including covered parking, extra TVs, DVD player, internet, washer and dryer, outside shower. This is a NON smoking home. If an enjoyable and relaxing vacation is what you are looking for, Pickle Palms is the place for you. Maximum occupancy is 6 and check-in is at 4:00 pm. Hope to see you on your next vacation.

The location is about halfway between both bridges onto the island, the high-rise bridge from Sneads Ferry and the swing bridge from Holly Ridge / Surf City, which can cut down on your time getting on and off the island (there is usually much less traffic coming over the high-rise). HOUSE RULES

Tenant/Guest Obligations - In accordance with the NCVRA, the Tenant is to:

1. Keep the Property, common areas, and appurtenant areas clean, safe, and sanitary;
2. Dispose of all ashes, rubbish, garbage, and other waste in a clean and safe manner;
3. Keep all plumbing fixtures clean;
4. Please do not move furniture inside or outside of the home to different rooms or decks.
5. Please do not consume food or drinks in the bedrooms.
6. Comforters and decorative pillows are not a part of the linen service. Please do not lay on top of these with wet bathing suits etc.
7. Please do not set the A/C temperature down below 72°. Below this temperature the unit can freeze up and you can be charged a service call as well as being without A/C for up to 24 hours.
10. Not deliberately or negligently destroy, deface, damage, or remove any part of the Property or render inoperable the smoke detectors;
11. Be responsible for all damage, defacement, or removal of any property inside the Property that is in his or her exclusive control;
12. Immediately notify the Owner in the event repairs or replacement of smoke detector are needed;
13. Additionally, the Tenant agrees to: (i) leave the Property in the same or better condition as when tenancy began except for normal wear and tear, (ii) be financially responsible for unwarranted or unneeded service calls and service calls caused by Tenants misuse of the Property, (iii) report any and all problems to the Owner immediately (within 24 hours or prior to departure), (iv) not to allow any member of their party to walk on, play on, or in any way disrupt the sand dunes of Topsail Island, (each town has a fine for this action), (v) not to enter Owner's private storage spaces, (vi) to abide by occupancy limits of the Property at all times.
14. The Tenant will be the sole contact person in regards to this Agreement and the tenancy. Such Tenant is responsible for the adherence of all other occupants, visitors, or guests of the Tenant to this Agreement.
15. Tenant will be held liable for extra cleaning charges and for damages involved in Smoking inside the Property.
16. Refrain from taking glass containers onto the beach.
17. Comply with any and all other instructions, regulations, or guidelines communicated by the Owner as well as all local ordinances.

Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy is in accordance with NCVRA 42A-36, and Article 36A of Chapter 14 or Article 1 of Chapter 166A of the General Statutes of North Carolina and is included on our rental agreement.

Should Tenant have to cancel for any reason, the Tenant must notify the Owner immediately in writing via email. Tenant acknowledges that cancellation by the Tenant does not relieve the Tenant from the specific terms of the Agreement. However, the Owner will make every effort to re-rent the Property for the specified period. If the Property is re-rented for the specified period, advanced rent payments will be refunded to the Tenant less a cancellation fee (up to 15% of the gross rental amount), less any discounts/expenses required to re-rent and less the Travel Insurance Premium

Failure to cancel in writing may result in charging the final payment to the Tenant's credit card.

If the Property is not re-rented, Tenant will not be entitled to reimbursement for any advance rent payment. The Owner will not be responsible for reimbursing for any fees that have already been paid out or are due a third party. The Tenant must seek reimbursement directly from the third party. The Tenant is responsible to verify that the cancellation notification has been received by the Owner.

This place is a gem!

Our family absolutely loved this property!

First of all, it is decorated beautifully inside, so warm and inviting, full of natural light and so comfortable! The views from both the front porch and inside the home are excellent! The landscaping is very pleasing and affords a nice front yard to play games, such as the cornhole game provided or to cook out using the full size grill provided. Having the option to shower outdoors and use of a separate hose to rinse off beach items was wonderful! The owners do all they can to make your stay a pleasant one and were available when we had any questions and/or concerns. Having the extra amenities like the cornhole game and access to a storage unit to stow our beach gear daily was such a plus.

This house is located on a super quiet street and is literally steps away from the beach! It really is the perfect location. If you would rather watch the beach/ocean you could sit in the rocking chairs (there are 2 available, but a couple more seats would be great!) on the front porch and enjoy the lovely breeze that graces the porch each day.

Thank you Matt and Lexi for all that you have done to make this home such a terrific vacation spot! We are so thankful to you for sharing your home with us travelers looking for a quiet, restful and peaceful vacation. This was one of our best vacations yet and we look forward to coming back again and again!

Perfect location and size!

This two bedroom and two bathroom house was perfect for our family of three. No traffic, cross the street and over the steps and you’re on the beach, sit on the front porch (could’ve had more chairs) and watch the ocean, play cornhole under the house when it rains, and so much more to offer. Very clean and comfortable.

A Great Vacation!!!

If you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation to escape from the stress for a while, Pickle Palms is the perfect choice. This beachfront vacation home provides everything needed in a beach vacation. From the coastal feeling interior to the beautiful porch views, our expectations were well exceeded. Our family of five enjoyed being just steps from the beach, grilling out, and playing bags and board games all provided by Pickle Palms. We were sad to leave. However, we plan to return to this wonderful location.
