This vacation house is beyond what we could have wished for. They have EVERYTHING you need to start your stay comfortably without a worry in the world. We spent the entire vacation in awe. The sound view, the ocean view, the quiet neighborhood, the cleanliness of the house...I could go on and on about the reason this vacation was a 10/10 for my family. Thank you!

My wife and I stayed at "Shore Glad I'm Here" for an entire month and fell in love with this house more each day. We've been doing OBX trips for decades, but 6 years ago we tried a week on North Topsail Beach and now we love it even more. We've rented dozens of homes, but the Callenders' home is truly one of a kind.
Everything was perfect for our extended stay and they had everything that we needed from deck seating to watch the sunset over the ICW, to an outdoor shed filled with beach chairs to take on the under 2 short block walk to the public beach access, a kitchen filled with every gadget (including a crock pot, an instant pot, and a turkey fryer), plus supplies for the dishwasher, washing machine, and toiletries.
The beds, sheets, towels (bath and beach), and furniture are terrific and worked out so well when family popped in on weekends to see where we had run off to.
This house is amazing, the location is ideal, and the hosts are friendly and communicative. The question is not whether we will be back (although the answer is already 'Yes!') but how many times we will be booking.

Very nice accomodations and easy, quick access to beach. House was clean, well appointed with appliances, kitchen, bathrooms, and comfortable. A big plus that we could take our dog. Would definitely come back.

This lovely, well-located property was a perfect fit for our family of four. The owners supply linens and even beach towels, making the whole check-in/out process super easy and convenient. The house was well-stocked with essentials and even some conveniences like detergent, coffee and toilet paper, making it easy for us to roll in for a late check in after the kids got out of school. The stroll to the beach takes 5 minutes and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The house itself was clean (no pet hair anywhere!!) and comfortable, with a super cozy electric fireplace and couches in the living room, perfect for a quiet night after a day in the water. Loved the view of the sound and porch set up. We'll be back!
