Footsteps from the wide beach and rolling waves, you and your family (including the 4 legged ones) will create memories on this peaceful, relaxing and safe beach. Only a 5 minute stroll down the beach and you'll be grabbing a bite to eat or a cold drink at one of the local restaurants, a slushy at Sunset Slush or picking up some saltwater taffy at the local candy shop. For maximum relaxation time you'll be rocking away on the cozy, large back porch and enjoying a sunrise or sunset view (from late fall to early spring you will enjoy both sunrises AND sunsets from the back porch on the same day!). Many books, games, and puzzles await in the living area with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. A well-equipped kitchen is ready for you to make a family meal that can be enjoyed in the spacious dining room or at the outdoor picnic table. An large outdoor shower provides plenty of space to relax and cleanse after a long day at the beach. If some time away from the beach is in order, stretch your legs at the Holden Beach family park, basketball court and children's outdoor splash area, a 5 minute walk away. High speed (1 Gig internet) & fiber to the home.

For dog owners: If your dog is housebroken and does not chew on household items, they are welcome at Life is Shore-t. If you bring your dog, pick up pets waste and dispose of properly. The outdoor shower includes a handheld shower head to make washing off the kids and pups a breeze. Note that Holden Beach does not allow dogs on the beach from May 20th to September 10th between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Up to 2 dogs are included in the dog fee. Contact owner if you have more than two furry friends who want to come to the beach, additional $350 non-refundable dog fee applies.

Fabulous family friendly house!
This was our first visit to Holden Beach, and we are officially in love! A BIG part of that reason is Kym & Joel's lovely home. The pictures are not deceiving, the house is right on the ocean, just (literal) steps and your toes are in the sand. The location is ideal - walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shop, slushie and ice cream stands, even the park/full basketball court is a very easy walk from the house! I loved that my kids could run onto the beach and bump the volleyball around or play in the sand at the same time that I could be fixing lunch, and still be able to see and hear them from the kitchen. The house is very comfortable and quiet - I usually struggle to get comfortable in rental houses because I'm picky about furniture. This house has very comfortable and solid furniture! I underestimated how much my kids would love the outdoor showers under the house, so next time I would bring an extra caddy of soap, shampoo, etc to leave in the outdoor showers. Do not hesitate to stay here, the location is amazing, the beaches are so beautiful and perfect for shell hunting. The Scoop was our favorite place to order food from (call ahead, as their is usually a bit of a wait if you order from the counter), and Fantasy Isle has HUGE scoops of yummy ice cream and super friendly service.

Relaxing family vacation!
This was our second year staying at Life is Shore-T and we enjoyed it just as much this year as we did last year. The kids love being able to run down to the beach and the house has everything you need to relax. We also love being able to bring our dog, who is also a big fan of the beach!

Great place for family R&R!
This is such a wonderful family spot! Beautiful view of the beach, every kitchen amenity you can think of, comfortable beds, and an ideal location near restaurants. We also enjoyed watching the neighborhood fox on his morning strolls and visiting the turtle watch crew each night on the beach to see if the nest hatched yet.

The perfect place to relax!
"Life is SHORE-t" was the perfect place for our family to relax. The house was perfectly equipped for all of our needs, and we absolutely loved the rocking chairs on the back porch which looked out directly to a beautiful beach. A big bonus was being able to bring our dogs!! I highly recommend "Life is SHORE-t"!!!

Great house!
Our family of 6 adults, 3 children and 1 dog loved this clean and well equipped house! The porch was awesome with rocking chairs and picnic table, very spacious. Great double outdoor shiwer! The location is perfect with quick access to the bridge, sometimes you felt like you were on a private beach. Well equipped kitchen with quality items for cooking and serving.
Lots of beds and sitting areas to accommodate a large family.
Communication with Kym was excellent! We would definitely rent from them again!
