Watch the sunrise from the front deck with coffee and the sunset from the back deck with a beverage of choice. Once you sit on the decks you feel as if you are already on the beach. You can see the ocean, smell the ocean, and hear the ocean all without leaving the decks. If you love to read this is a perfect fit for you. This charming home offers a master king bedroom downstairs on the first floor and two queen bedrooms upstairs on the second floor all with private bathrooms and TV's. Walking distance (about 1 mile) to the Castaways restaurant, Mermaids Island Grill, Holden Beach Pavilion and Sunset Slush Ice cream. Shore Beats Work is located on the less populated, quiet east end of the island. Many upgrades include, new smart TVs in each room, brand new front deck built October 2022. Newly remodeled extending the dinning area, sitting area and a small bonus sleeping quarters (2020). New heating and hair units (2021). There is a full size outside shower around back for you to rinse off after a long day on the beach. The master bedroom is located on the main floor with a bath and shower. Double decker back deck was reconstructed in 2019 and has amazing views. Pollywood lifeguard chairs located on the upper back deck and Pollywood dinning set located on the lower back deck. Hair dryers in all the bathrooms. The kitchen has customized sea shell accents. Wine and beer cooler installed 2021. Lots of small upgrades adding details to the home. Short walk to the Intercoastal Waterway for boating and fishing. 150 steps from driveway to private community beach access, it takes 2 minutes to walk (or less) which means no parking permit required. Everything you need for a great vacation.
Located midway between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach, Holden Beach is almost 11 miles in length and offers secluded white sandy beaches along the Atlantic Ocean, the island is a perfect place for beachcombers and joggers to enjoy. Holden Beach has a reputation as a quiet, family-oriented vacation destination with very little in the way of commercial development. National Geographic Traveler magazine rated Holden Beach one of the best family beaches in the country. Cable and wireless Internet are available.

The perfect little beach cottage. It's everything we wanted. Well maintained and extra clean. Most important comfortable.
I have been visiting Holden Beach as far back as I can remember. My family always visited the east end because of the quietness. This home makes you feel safe walking, jogging or riding bikes. Holden Beach is located comfortably in the middle of Wilmington and Myrtle beach.
To be able to sit on the front porch and drink coffee while the sun rises or the top back deck or lower back deck and watch the sunset with your favorite drink. You have ocean views from practically all angles of the house. You hear the waves clap against the sand or the buoy out at sea. The moon light shinning on the water is also visible and amazing! Short walk to the bridge and the marina. All for an affordable price.

Sunrise and Sunset!!!
We stayed in October. Carol, the property owner, was super easy to converse with and very responsive. The house in a perfect, quiet area of Holden Beach but a quick 1/2 mile walk to three great restaurants. The fabulous upper deck provided exquisite views of each evening's sunset. With our drapes pulled back we could enjoy the morning sunrise directly from the comfort of the master bed.
The beach is just across the street. The house is very well stocked and the owners provided access to the beach supplies in the garage including a beach cart to lug our gear with.

Great House!
Our family had a great time. The house was as-described and in perfect proximity to a beach access. The check-in process was smooth and hassle free. The only minor issue we had was the picture on the living room TV was green and wavy, but we never really minded it because most of our time was spent enjoying the beach and surrounding area. Overall an excellent property and experience.
We look forward to staying again!

Labor Day family vacation
We absolutely loved our stay at Holden Beach over Labor Day. It was our first visit but definitely won't be our last. The house was amazing and just a very short walk to the beach. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. I can't wait to book our next stay.

Peaceful getaway
This place was a nice location. It’s low traffic and easy beach access from the cottage. Three bedrooms with accompanying bathrooms was really nice. Kitchen was well stocked. I would definitely stay again
