Welcome to Sandy Paws and Salty Kisses. Here you will make memories with the whole family, including your 4 legged member. This 3 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront classic beach house will have you reminiscing of beach vacations you had as a kid. Totally renovated in 2018, you will enjoy the updated feel of this house.
Situated between Myrtle Beach, SC and Wilmington,NC you are 40 minutes from all the shopping and activities you desire. Then return back to the tranquility of Holden Beach, where the pace is slower and the beaches are wider.
You are steps away from dipping your toes into the ocean. This updated home has a fully stocked kitchen for cooking great meals for your family. Read a good book while enjoying the air-conditioned sunroom with a leather sectional couch. Play cards or enjoy your coffee on the 6 top table. Step out onto the covered porch to smell the ocean breeze while enjoying the sights in your favorite colored glider chair with a matching glider ottoman. Or enjoy dinner at the picnic table. Continue a few more steps and you are on the beach! For safety, there are gates on all external openings, allowing for peace of mind for your pups and little ones.. When you are done with the beach, shower off with the shower on the deck or go downstairs to the full shower with hot/cold water.
Provided for your use are beach chairs, both high back and low riders, beach toys, and beach towels.
There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their space. The den has 70-inch tv, DVD player, 2 full-size couches, 6 seater high top table, 8 seater dining table, 3 bar chair and a 6 seater table in the sunroom, 2 recliners . Pull out the 4 stools under the coffee table for even more sitting room, or just use one to put your feet up.
All bedrooms have new(2018) beds. Bedroom #1 (street side ) has a twin/full bunk and a queen bed. Bedroom # 2( middle) is a King with private access to the bathroom, Bedroom# 3 (oceanfront ) is a queen with private bath. All bedrooms have new tv's hooked up to cable. For your little ones, I have provided bed rails(2) for their safety. There is a pack and play for your baby which doubles as a changing table if needed..
A quick 3 minute walk will have you at the park where your kids will squeal in delight while playing in the Pirate themed splash pad, or push them on the swings while watching the boats travel the intercostal waterway. Grab your basketball and head to the lighted courts for a quick pick-up game. Pack a lunch and enjoy it undercover at the shelter while the kids play. Afterwords, walk to enjoy some ice-cream or drop by the fish market and pickup the catch of the day for dinner. Not in the mood to cook? Stroll down to the 3 nearby restaurants for a wonderful meal.
Your toddler(s) can spend hours at their very own table for crafts and fun. Plus, there is a toy box full just waiting for them to explore. For your pup, I have available a medium kennel for your use. And, we didn't forget the toys for them, as there is a box full too.

Why Terri chose Holden Beach
As a native Charlottean, the beach has always been my go to happy place. I was tired of having to pay to board my 2 Golden Doodles while I went to the beach. Last November, I fixed that situation by purchasing my own dog friendly home for all to enjoy. I have updated the home in hopes that your family will be comfortable and feel at home. Although I have no children of my own, I love all kids. That is why I added extra amenities just for them, including a toddler 4 top table, side rails for the beds and kiddie books to read. For the dogs, I have a kennel available, plenty of toys and a shower with hose to wash the dog after a day on the beach.
What makes this house unique? This beach home is bright and roomy for your whole family to enjoy. There is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own space, whether that is reading a book in the sunroom, rocking away on the outside porch or watching a good movie in the living room.

Enjoy the tranquility of Holden Beach. When you need a bit more activity, head to either Wilmington, NC or Myrtle Beach. We are a quick 45 minute ride from all the activities your family would want. Then come back to the peace of your home on the ocean.
Don't get stuck in the long lines of traffic coming on or off the island. You are just one block away from the bridge, making for easy, quick access to the mainland. Walk across the street to the basketball/tennis/pickle ball courts & playground or the Sunday night concerts under the bridge.

Sandy Paws and Salty Kisses is the perfect vacation rental at Holden Beach, NC. The house is very nice, clean and well furnished with everything you need for the week. The location is incredible as you are just steps away from the sandy beach. A fully covered deck and an enclosed sunroom both offer a great view of the ocean regardless of the weather. The owner ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a memorable vacation. My family has found our forever vacation home and we are already planning for a return visit.

Life gets perfect at Sandy Paws & Salty Kisses. Terri’s hospitality and attention to detail are like no other property we’ve rented - even from friends. It feels more like home and we treated it as if it was. The owner’s organization and neatness make me SOO happy. We were all so very comfortable, including the dogs. Beachfront and awesome front porch!

Amazing week at Sandy Paws & Salty Kisses!
We spent an amazing week at Sandy Paws & Salty Kisses in May and are already dreaming of a return trip. Terri thought of every convenience for guests at her house and truly went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and at home. Everything was perfect from the location (oceanfront views to die for, close to the bridge, minutes from the grocery store, and walking distance to a few restaurants), cleanliness (not a spec of sand or dog hair when we arrived - how is that even possible?!!), all the comforts of home (updated amenities, the most fully stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen, and a great collection of books, games, and DVDs), and extras to cover everything I hadn’t even considered (latching gates on all exits, headlamps for night walks, and the softest, fluffiest couch blankets you’ve ever felt).
I absolutely loved the sunroom and could live in there forever. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, but the sunroom was perfect to read a book, sip coffee, and snuggle the dog all while enjoying the gorgeous view and sounds of the ocean.
The beach was so quiet, clean, and perfect for shelling. It was also a great place for a morning jog! From the house to the pier and back was just about a perfect 3 mile distance.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the pet and beach décor. We are big dog lovers ourselves and got a kick out of all the little details Terri put into the house. You can tell she truly enjoys this beach retreat and sharing it with others.
Terri, thank you for opening your home to us, we truly enjoyed every minute of it. To any others thinking of renting this home, we highly recommend it!
