The townhouse is located on a dead end road directly across from the beach and has excellent beach access (less than a minute walk). The home is located in a nice neighborhood adjacent to Surf City and is close to restaurants and stores. This is a luxury home with hardwood and tile floors and granite counter tops throughout. There are four covered porches and one balcony, three of these have beautiful ocean and sound views.
This is a pet-friendly house. Except for bears. We're not making that mistake again!
If you're looking for the pleasure of beach living, breathtaking views of the North Carolina coast and the luxuries of North Topsail Beach, come stay in our FAMILY-FRIENDLY home. Completed in May 2015, the house has a modern style and feel. You won't feel closed-in or like you're staying at Grandma's in an out of date, older house With pale colors on the walls. This house is designed to make you think, "if I had a house on the beach, I'd want it to look like this." The 9.5 ft. ceilings, freshly painted walls, light floors, brushed nickel fixtures, and stylish furnishings are modern and clean.
The bedrooms are huge, each measuring at least 13 ft. X 15 ft. Each bedroom contains a queen bed, night stands, dresser or chest of drawers, and a flat screen TV with cable. All rooms have ocean or sound views and the sound of the waves breaking on the beach will sooth even the most frazzled nerves. Two of the bedrooms have their own private bathrooms and the two remaining bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with separated double vanity area and shower/toilet areas.
The kitchen and living room are an open air concept, with a large space that just begs for socializing and entertaining. The kitchen is huge with beautiful cabinets and granite counter-tops and includes:
• stoneware plates and bowls;
• highball, wine, and martini glasses;
• plenty of silverware;
• pots & pans;
• baking dishes;
• and several small kitchen appliances including toaster, blender, griddle, and George Foreman grill.
The living room has sofas and chairs (they are not pull out, but are certainly comfortable enough to sleep on and increase the number of travelers) and a wall-mounted big screen HDTV with cable. There is also an inflatable queen size mattress.
Enjoy one of four decks (two ocean view, two sound view) in rocking chairs and quality fold out chairs.
The house is 16.5 feet off the ground and can park six cars underneath with room for at least two more cars in the gravel driveway. In addition to the front door, there is a poor-weather entry from under the house in case a shower rolls in off the ocean.
Cable TV and WIFI are included.
We provide starter amenities (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc.) to start you off. We do not provide these amenities for your entire stay.

I am an active duty Marine with just over 15 years in the service. This house is the culmination of a long-term dream funded by the savings of seven deployments spread out between Iraq, Afghanistan, Europe, and Africa. Since the Marine Corps decided that it was time for me to move, I decided to share this amazing house for two reasons: I need to make sure the mortgage is paid, and I want to provide an affordable and amazing vacation spot for as many people as possible. I believe that providing a high quality space at responsible prices will draw in high quality and responsible vacationers who will enjoy and treat the house with the respect they would if it was their own.
Remember, every time you rent from a Marine, a bald eagle gets its wings!!!
Matt Potts purchased this townhome in 2015
Why Matt Potts chose Topsail Island
After being stationed a Camp Lejeune, which is about 13 miles from the house, I had the opportunity to visit Topsail Island and decided that I wanted to try and build. Knowing that I'd have to move at some point, I set out to build the biggest and best house I could on the best lot I could find.
The styling of the inside of the house really feels somewhere between a high end hotel and a well done residence. I used mainly young, masculine colors with dark cabinets, dark furniture, brushed nickel hardware, stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen counters, dark bedroom furniture, and current fashion fabrics. The house really is a huge accomplishment for me and I hope that it will help make vacations enjoyable for anyone who grabs it up for a week or longer.
If you are a Marine (or group of Marines) stationed in the area and are interested in a year-long lease, definitely let me know.
What makes this townhome unique
I'm Not Sure What Else I Can Say That I Haven't Covered. the House is a Brand New, Modern, Huge House That Just Makes You Feel Good. Please Feel More Than Welcome to Contact Me With Any Questions.

The house is located on a dead end street which significantly cuts down on traffic. Three local bars (The Brass Pelican, Hulas, and Margaritas) are within walking distance at about a quarter mile. The location is about halfway between both bridges onto the island, the high-rise bridge from Sneads Ferry and the swing bridge from Holly Ridge / Surf City, which can cut down on your time getting on and off the island (there is usually much less traffic coming over the high-rise). Restaurants and shops are about 3.5 miles down the island in Surf City.

We loved this home! Great for easy beach access, away from the crowds, but close to everything. No one wanted to leave :)
Stayed March, 2022
We’ve stayed in a few rental beach properties, and while always enjoying ourselves (love the beach!) have come to expect to be disappointed in things with regard to the properties, i.e. sparsely furnished kitchenware, low quality towels & linen, kitchen layout too small for more than 1 person etc…
We were not disappointed at all with this property, it was fantastic. Steps from a beautiful beach (1st time to Topsail), easy to get to, a floor plan that works for 2 or 10 people, We loved it. Just one heads up, not a criticism, the property is 3 levels so there are lots of stairs. If you’re not in good shape, the stairs will be challenging.
