Watching herons fish for breakfast! We enjoyed an amazing stay at Linda and Jorge's property! It is by far the cleanest and well stocked property we have ever stayed in, it had everything we needed and more. The screened in porch may have been our favorite part of the house, we spent our meal times there as well as quiet reading while listening to the creek, watching herons fish for their breakfast. The mountain view is incredible and my husband and son enjoyed fishing in the evenings in the pond. And we were only 15 minutes or so from Lake Chatuge! Highly recommend!!!

Hours playing in the water! We had SUCH a great time here. The house was equipped with everything we needed to cook. There was so many lovely touches: wildflowers in each room, everything clearly labeled, coffee/tea, books and games, helpful maps, etc. The attention to detail was impressive. And the view/location was divine. It makes right up to the creek, which was fast flowing but not deep. My kids (ages 6 and 8) spent hours playing in the water. It was fast enough to make it feel like an adventure for them, and shallow enough (no more than 18 inches max) that I was never worried about their safety. Linda and Jorge were excellent, attentive, and kind hosts, especially when we had some illness related travel changes. The trails were great too. We spent lots of time hiking around. It was the first trip I took with my young children that was actually a vacation for me too, and the setting was a big part of it. I am still dreaming of cooler temps and tall trees! Many thanks to Linda and Jorge!

The place truly lives up to its reputation: serenity! My husband and I had a wonderful 5-day vacation at Linda’s rental home at serenity Lane. We love everything about this place: The super clean home, the very spacious screen porch, all the comfortable chairs inside & outside, the rushing river, the Serenity Pond， the trails and the woods. Linda is such a responsive and thoughtful host, and we like her very much. And we certainly will come back again and again in the future.

Fireflies near the pond were magical! WE had a wonderful time at the cabin. The rooms were spacious, the creek was lovely and the pond was full of bass!! While there we saw deer, geese, red wing blackbirds, turtles, and a whole host of wildlife. There were thousands putting on a show all the way up to the tops of the trees! I would absolutely recommend a stay here.
