DO IT! Our family was traveling back home and wanted to add a little extra adventure to our trip and ran in to this place. My kids were SO excited to stay inside a caboose and when we arrived we were greeted with the greatest experience! I would go there and do it all over again and would even love to return as a couple instead of the whole family! We didn't get to stay long enough but we did see the animals on our drive out. If you are debating staying here, DO IT! :)

Amazing and Unique
While browsing for rentals, I discovered this caboose located on a bison farm near Asheville, NC. I knew I had to book a few nights here. From the moment we pulled into the drive, we were greeted by a herd of bison grazing on the hillside! It was an amazing sight! Then we noticed our caboose! It was unbelievable! The owners have an identical caboose right behind this one that has not yet been renovated. I loved getting to see the before and after of the renovation. I can't believe there are people who have such vision of restoration.
This property was a little out of the way for all that we had planned for our vacation, but we just had to book it. It was worth the drive to Dollywood and Biltmore to stay here.
We were very impressed at the personalized welcome from the moment we entered the caboose (I won't spoil the surprise). Space is limited (understandably...it's a caboose). We didn't spend much time in the caboose. We visited with the llamas, miniature horses, and goats.
My children are teenagers, and they loved the experience. I'm sure it would be magical for a young child who loves trains!!!! I highly recommend this property for all age groups!!

Fantastic!!! Blew my 4 yr old boy mind. Loved catching lightning bugs and buffalo in the background.
It was a bit of walk to playground but plenty for any child to play on.
