Quaint and Relaxing

What a hidden treasure you have created at the Buffalo Bungalow! We couldn't have found a more perfect (romantic) place to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Thank you for all the wonderful amenities and the personalized signs welcoming us for our anniversary. The little touches really added to the experience. (The smores were an added treat!) We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property, the farm and all the animals. The staff were all very personable and friendly and shared many great stories of the property and the new construction taking place on the cabooses. We look forward to returning with family and friends to rent a larger cabin.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I had an amazing weekend at Buffalo Bungalow! We enjoyed the views and everything the cabin had to offer! They have really thought of every little detail and made for a relaxing and stress free stay!

Best anniversary ever!!

I was so thrilled when my husband surprised me for our 19th wedding anniversary w/ a trip to the Buffalo Bungalow! This cabin was totally created w/ a romantic getaway in mind!! Every little detail is taken care of. I have never been in a sauna before & my, that was outstanding!! Then, we decided to try the massage table & we even booked a massage therapist through Cheryl & Sarah was AWESOME! We did some hiking in the area & then rested my weary bones in the hot tub on the back deck. The view from there is breathtaking. It felt like we were the only ones there! One of the days it rained, so we hung inside & my husband let me beat him in a game of pool. Then the weather cleared that evening & we were able to grill our bison steaks outside. Those were delicious!!! Just want to say THANK YOU again to Cheryl & everyone else we met on the property for helping make this one of our best getaways by far! We will be back...& I am planning on bringing our family to stay at one of the larger cabins as well!

A Cabin Built for Two

We live on the coast and have been celebrating our wedding anniversary in the NC mtns for the last 23 years. This is our first time in the Waynesville area. The road to the cabin was intimidating but doable. It is evident the owners put a lot of thought and planning into this beautiful, well designed, fully stocked cabin for two. Clear and accurate instructions were provided from beginning to end. We enjoyed our breakfast meals out at nearby 209 Café and Clyde's Restaurant. After touring a day in nearby historic Waynesville and the beautiful waterfalls in Brevard, we came back each evening to a welcoming hot tub which turned out to be the highlight of our stay. (We've never been in a hot tub and it was awesome.) The only negative was the rainy, warm weather which followed us from the coast to the mountains and back home. A wonderful couples getaway.

Great Place for a Romantic Stay

My wife and I celebrated our 19th anniversary here and could not have had a nicer time. The cabin was beautiful and had plenty of very nice romantic touches to help make our weekend great. We spent a ton of time in the hot tub and also enjoyed the sauna. We plan on staying here again whenever we get a 3-4 day weekend and want to get away for a bit.
