The Bishops

My husband and I had the absolute BEST time at the Buffalo Bungalow! We needed a relaxing getaway from our busy lives and this was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. We are planning on going back every year! The bed was so comfortable which I was thankful for however I will be bringing my own pillow next time bc I like a more firm pillow and those were super soft. The animals on the grounds are sweet and friendly. We enjoyed seeing all the bison especially the female that was about to have her calf. Enjoyed hearing that she delivered the day we left ☺️. The people we met there were so kind and friendly it felt like home. Can't wait to go back!!

Second visit and can't wait for a third!

My boyfriend and I just had our second visit to this beautiful cabin and cannot wait to go back! We started a "post-holiday" vacation tradition a few years ago - just to get away and relax! On our second holiday vacation we found this little gem and had to return this year, we could not imagine spending our vacation anywhere else. The cabin is stocked with anything and everything you might need - from cooking utensils to the wonderfully cozy bath robes. The bed is comfortable, I think it's memory foam and I know that some people don't like it, but I slept like a baby each time got under the covers. We stopped at a grocery store on our way in and didn't have to leave the cabin once - except to explore the farm, of course. We took a nice walk around to see the buffalo, chickens, goats, llamas, and even made our way down to the playground! We heard our neighbors infrequently and only because they too seemed to be having a good time. If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, this is your stop. Thank you again, Cheryl, for being so kind and thoughtful. There was even a little sign welcoming us back on our second trip :) We can't wait to return next year, we will be booking in advance to make sure we get our weekend ahead of time!

Perfect Winter Getaway

The cabin at Buffalo Bungalow was absolutely amazing! I took my girlfriend as a Christmas gift with the expectation of going skiing. We both grew up in Florida so as expected are winters are very boring and landscape is much more flat. Once we arrived to the mountains, the view was absolutely breathtaking and we FINALLY witnessed snow! We were a little nervous with my girlfriend's two door Honda civic getting around the mountains but after the first time we felt like locals! The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful with more than plenty to do. The fact that we were there for three nights and only turned the TV on once for the Super Bowl shows the abundance of things to do around the cabin. We ended up skiing at the Cataloochee Ski Resort which was our first time and absolutely amazing. After falling a bunch, what is better to do than relaxing in the hot tub and sauna! Cheryl really out did her self with the cabin and the whole process was a breeze! Definitely recommend this for couples as you will not regret a single second! Thank you again!

Exactly what we wanted!

We had a wonderful time at the bungalow. It is was relaxing, intimate, and perfect for a couple that wants some time to themselves. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants to spend some quality time with their special someone.
