A gem of a house.

A very comfortable clean spacious home. So thankful to have had a chance to spend Thanksgiving week there. The porches are lovely for relaxing. The view of the ocean is just breath taking. Sunrise to sunset it is a picture show of sand and sea that you can enjoy from the enclosed porch, deck or just steps to the beach .I loved the spacious front yard with the marsh views. Very nice floor plan. I would definitely choose this house for a return visit. Beth was kind and informative in her communications. Choose this home. You will be glad you did.

So Great!!!

We just loved this house! My husband and I spent our Anniversary week here. The house was everything that I love in a beach house. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was at the beach. The home is clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The decor was very nice too.
The location is perfect. Step off the porch and onto the beach!
Every day was pretty much the same. Wake up, watch the sunrise from the deck, spend the day on the beach (even went swimming in late October!), picked up fresh seafood for dinner, Happy Hour on the deck, watching the sunset. (I love the fact HB is an East West beach and you can watch both sunrise and sunset from the same location.)
We really wished we could have stayed longer. It was the perfect, relaxing vacation!
The owners, Beth and Bill, have really thought of everything that would make this a special vacation. Thank you both so much!! I'd highly recommend your home!

Great house and a great stay!

What a great house on the beach and great owners! We had a wonderful time, accommodations were great and so was regular communication with the owner Beth! She reached out to answer questions and was responsive to text throughout our stay. The house was perfect for me, my partner and our little dog. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is a great location on the beach without too many people crowding the beach! Great location! We will definitely come back to this house!

The most relaxing beach vacation I have had in a very long time!

Our first time booking, new to the area and unfamiliar with the vacation rental process, I thought to myself GOSH I hope I am not making a mistake, this may be the first and last time we go.
Arriving there I was pleasantly suprised! Fist impression, quaint and quiet. Upon entering: Clean and smell of freshly laundered linens. The place was immaculate. The furniture didnt look overly used. It looked like this place could actually be my OWN beach home away from home.... AND IT WAS! Having all the necessities, and what you may need or forgotten is only a couple miles up the road at Dollar General, Walgreens or Food Lion! How convenient! I loved every single thing about the place. My elder in law had to have direct beach access... it was soooo nice for her to sit on the covered back porch and watch from inside so as not to get too much sun, or walk down for an hour or two at a time. So nice not to have to haul all the beach must have's and forced to stay all day due to the inconvenience of STUFF you need for long stints on the beach. Morning sunrise and sunsets so close to the pier made for great photo ops! The layout of the beach house was most favorable for parties of 6 and privacy with a baby.
THIS WILL BE THE ONLY PLACE WE WILL RETURN TO FROM NOW ON :) Thank you Beth, you were absolutely right - it was the perfect little place!

Location Location Location

This was our first time renting a property on the beach and our first stay at Holden. This PROPERTY is ALL about LOCATION!! Beautiful access right on the beach, close to the local market, and pier, and close to the playground and bridge access to other businesses, such as drug store, and grocery stores. The house is a open 3 bedroom/2 baths that is homey and comfortable. It has a large kitchen with many necessities, that we fully utilized, and two porches with views of the street and the beach. The rocking chairs on the porch viewing the ocean were well used.
The home gives the impression of home and beach cottage. There could be some cosmetic updates with some bathroom updates, but I have to say, the location is perfect. We used it as we would our home and relaxed and enjoyed the property. The property was fresh smelling, clean and inviting upon arrival, with even the owner leaving a welcome note with flowers. Such a sweet touch. They were even so nice to check on use during our stay.
Would I stay here again............Most definitely! Holden beach and the people we met at the businesses
and on the beach were great, friendly and new friend were made.
