Very impressed by the owners' communications about the house, its amenities, and restaurants and fun venues in the area. The house was clean and ready upon our arrival. The flowers were a lovely touch. We had failed to pack beach chairs and found several, along with an umbrella on the back porch. Thank you! We were really looking for a relaxing week post hurricane and were quite pleased.

The house is absolutely wonderful! We had a great time! Perfect location, right on the beach, close to the pier, close to restaurants. House was super clean, the perfect amount of room for us!

My family loved this house, and hated to leave. It was well equipped and comfortable. The location was very convenient. We were within walking distance to a grocery store, beach store, and ice cream shop. I would recommend this home to anyone.

First off I would like to thank Beth for the prompt communication before booking, after booking and during our visit. I was looking for a nice, affordable oceanfront cottage for my family. I looked for weeks. I stumbled on this listing and was impressed with the pictures and the reviews. We all know that with a lot of these listings the pictures could be a week old or 10 years old. These are all current and there is even a video on YouTube. When you talk to Beth she will tell you that it is an older style cottage. But, the appointments and furniture are all very nice and well taken care of. The porch though is what makes this rental perfect. Open and airy you feel as though you are on the beach. I fell in love with this cottage immediately and pre-booked for next year. I am also looking at dates for my mother. The other thing I need to mention is the well stocked kitchen. As a retired executive chef, I planned on cooking most of the dinners. This kitchen had everything I needed.
If you are looking for a fancy newly built home this is not your place as Beth will tell you up front. However, if you want a nice, right on the beach, well taken care of cottage this is your beach house.

You could not ask for better hosts, location or price. The cottage was ready and immaculate when we arrived. The location was fabulous, steps from the beach (literally). Beautiful enclosed porch with rocking chairs to sip your morning coffee, or watch a storm roll in. Wonderful food on the island, but also traveled to Myrtle Beach, Wilmington and Southport for short trips and shopping. If you get the chance, book it and go!! We can't wait to return.
