Take off your shoes and get out for a walk down the beach and you’ll know why visitors keep coming back to Ocean Isle Beach year after year.

In contrast to other beach areas along the southeastern coast, Ocean Isle has worked to avoid the everyday hustle and bustle. Instead, this island has sustained a family beach atmosphere and has proudly kept itself on a low-key, low-rise course. It’s the perfect place for vacationers who want to relax and enjoy a quiet, refreshing time.

Nothing beats basking in the sun for the better part of the day. Restaurants and hangouts with outdoor decks and waterfront views are always a great respite from the rigors of relaxing on the beach. Need a break from the sun? Visit The Museum of Coastal Carolina to encounter more sea life and even a touch tank, or unwind at the award-winning Silver Coast Winery.

However you decide to spend it, a vacation at Ocean Isle Beach will always be time well spent.

Stretching for seven miles along the Atlantic Ocean, our beach provides the perfect place for a relaxing morning swim in the surf, building sandcastles with your family or turtle-watching in the evening.
