This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, perched on nearly 2-acres, features 2 large decks with mountain views, an outdoor fire pit, an indoor wood burning fireplace, and a finished basement equipped with games. THE SPACE

Bedroom 1: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed and Twin Bunkbed

Enjoy an authentic mountain vacation in this charming rustic cabin. The walk-in main floor features 1,000 square-feet of living space, including 2 bedrooms that share a full bathroom with bathtub and shower, a fully equipped kitchen (NO dishwasher), and a living and dining area. Cozy up by the large wood-burning fireplace or relax and dine on the 30-foot upper deck overlooking the mountains. The three flat-screen ROKU tvs, equipped with Netflix and Sling TV, will make you feel right at home. Please note that the satellite dish pictured is inactive.

The front porch, located right off the kitchen, offers a gas grill, as well as a park style charcoal grill.

Downstairs you will find a 500 square-foot finished walk-out basement equipped with a 50" ROKU TV, regulation-size foosball table, mini basketball hoop, an area to relax and play board games, washer and dryer, and a full bathroom with bathtub and shower.

A mountain getaway wouldn't be complete without relaxing and roasting marshmallows by the outdoor fire pit, located just off the bottom deck. Firewood not provided.

Our property offers a sense of privacy with the comfort of knowing you're not completely isolated. There are three neighboring homes within view. The view of these neighboring structures is least obstructed during the late fall/winter when trees are bare.

Children are welcome at the property (We have 3 under 7!), but please be mindful of the steep drop-offs throughout the property's rugged terrain. There are plenty of safe areas for children to play in the common grounds of the community, located in the valley just below. The cabin is not childproof and has stairs.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The community of Tobacco Branch offers a football-sized field, 5-acre lake with dock for swimming and fishing, large pavilion with picnic tables and wood fireplace, shuffleboard, and horseshoes, as well as several hiking trails throughout. Please note that no fishing license is needed to fish at the community's private lake, and several fishing poles are available for your use.

The main road into the Tobacco Branch community is paved, but the road up to the cabin is a one-lane gravel mountain road. A 4x4 vehicle is not required to access the cabin, however city dwellers may need to channel their adventurous spirit as they climb the sometimes steep and winding mountain road.
