The property was easy to find which can sometimes be challenging in the mountains. Other than quite a bit of leaf debris on the steps and deck (given the season) the property was very clean and accommodated our party of 4 adults and 2 med sized dogs well. LOVED the great fireplace and we went through a lot of firewood purchased at Ingles in Burnsville (25 minute drive) where we did most of our grocery shopping. Did not spend much time in the basement but it is a great space for hanging out and we LOVED the old school pin ball machines! Nice touch for sure! We cooked at least one meal every day at the cabin and found the kitchen to have most of the basics. We enjoyed nearby hikes to some lovely waterfalls and also got in some stunning scenery on the Blue Ridge Pkwy just as the leaves were starting to explode with color. It was a great stay our stay and we would recommend it to others who are looking for a family cabin at a reasonable price.

Lovely property, it is off the beaten path very laid back, good golf.
Not recommended for under 6 or older folks. A little hard to drive to but with proper planning very nice.
