Seacret Treasure is a wonderful cottage located in Rodanthe, NC. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you will need to have an awesome OBX vacation.
The cottage is only 100 footsteps from the beach. This makes trips back to the cottage for snacks and breaks from the sun easy and convenient!
There are ocean views from most rooms and from the large spacious outdoor decks.
The cottage is very well maintained and offers many extras! There is a game room on the ground level with an air hockey table, Foosball table, TV, stereo and extra refrigerator. Also on this level is a laundry room with washer and dryer and this is also where we keep a few bicycles and many beach toys for our guests to enjoy.
The main floor offers a lovely living room, eat in kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
All reservations include, WiFi and clean, fresh linens already made on the bed and complimentary passes to the Rodanthe Pier during your stay.
There is also a video library, many board games and books for guests to enjoy!

There is a game room located on the ground floor (great for the kids!) with an Air Hockey table, Foosball table, stereo, TV and a 2nd refrigerator (handy for cold drinks for the beach and your ''Catch of the Day''). Also on this level is a separate laundry room, Hot/Cold Outdoor shower w/ changing area, Fish Cleaning Station, Horseshoes and a charcoal grill.
The main level is cheerfully decorated and very welcoming so it has that ''Home Away from Home'' feel. The living room is a great place for guests to gather for some evening entertainment -TV/DVD, boardgames or just some great conversation and relaxation.
The kitchen is well equipped making meal preparation a snap. Cooking is so much better when you can see the ocean!! There is a large pantry providing plenty of room for your groceries. There is a large table and seating for six in the open dining area.
SEAcret Treasures sleeps six. There are 3 bedrooms all bright and decorated with tropical beach themes. The master bedroom has a Queen bed , TV and its own master bathroom. The second bedroom has a Full/Double bed and the third bedroom has two Twin beds.
There is absolutely something for everyone here! Whether you want to do everything , just lay on the beach (or great decks) and unwind or a little bit of both! You have found the perfect place!

About The Owner
My husband, Vernon and I (Cheryl) are the owners of SEAcret Treasure. We've been married 32 years, have 2 adult children and live in Maryland. We have been vacationing with our children in the Outer Banks for many years. We bought this cottage in 2004. By the beginning of the rental season in 2005 we had completely transformed what had formerly been ''Fuller's Sea Breeze''. Vernon took what was then the owner's storage area and turned it into the game room. He also added the huge sundeck. I went to work inside. Sanding, painting and decorating. We try very hard to do something new every season so that it is kept in great shape. This little cottage has become one of our favorite places on earth. So many happy memories. Such a peaceful place.
Why the Owner Chose Hatteras:
Rodanthe has always been our family's favorite vacation spot so a cottage here was a dream come true. The beaches are simply beautiful. We chose this house because it is located on a very quiet side street so close to the ocean. It is also close to the Liberty Station (convenience store/gas station). So once here you don't really need to drive. It is short walk to the pier or Pea Island in the other direction. The views are amazing. The street is quiet. Perfect!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
Morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the swing are pure pleasure. The ocean views and the breeze as you swing- - -it really is so relaxing. We keep 2 bikes in the laundry room for guests use- -this makes trips to the convenience store a bit more fun! We also keep a variety of beach items for use by guests. The views from the house and being so close to the beach are sure to lift your spirits. Part of the deck is covered so you can even enjoy being outside on a rocking chair in the rain! Even a rainy day here is a good day! It is a great place to be.

Hatteras Island is a breathtakingly beautiful place with many things to do and places to explore!! While at SEAcret Treasure, in addition to being so close to an amazing day on the beach you can also walk to Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Museum. Other places to explore include Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, the Hatteras Lighthouse and the Civil War Battle of Chicamacomico Races. You can take the Ferry to Ocracoke Island for a fun-filled day trip. There are also many shops, restaurants and water sports.

Incredible Vacation and the perfect Beach Cottage!
Another great vacation on the most wonderful cottage on Hatteras Island. The weather was great and the cottage was in terrific shape. All the new updates were greatly appreciated. We loved the passed to the Rodanthe Pier for ocean fishing! Cheryl and Vernon love SEAcret Treasure and it shows with their meticulous care taken inside and outside the cottage. They always add something to the cottage and this year they added multiple upgrades and our favorite was the captain chairs on the top deck which we enjoyed every morning and evening. We have been coming to Hatteras Island for over 10 years and we stay in this lovely cottage every year, sometimes when we are lucky twice a year. It is perfect for beach access, fishing, site seeing, cooking and relaxing. Thanks for Cheryl and Vernon for sharing their lovely cottage with us! The Roland's.

Great beach cottage!
This was our first time visiting the OBX and SEAcret Treasures was the perfect place to stay. It is a delightful, cozy home which is very well equipped with anything you may need. The deck is spacious and has amazing views in every direction. We loved having the bikes to cruise around the area and to visit our cousins who were staying a block away. It is in the perfect location for sightseeing and learning about the history of the region. We enjoyed seeing Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, the wildlife refuge, and the Lost Colony in Manteo. Cheryl was so nice and helpful in answering all our questions. She was a pleasure to work with! We live on the opposite coast in California but if we lived closer we would definitely spend every summer at SEAcret Treasures!

The house was wonderful, just the right size for us. It was is an excellent condition.

Thoughtfuly designed. This house had a lot of details, which really made it stand out, such as the game room for when the weather isn't too great. We really enjoyed how close the house was to the ocean.

Incredible vacation cottage and awesome sun and fun!
Well we are home from another awesome vacation on Hatteras Island on the Outer Banks. We are so lucky that we get to stay and the best cottage in Rodanthe and we so appreciate Vernon and Cheryl sharing their home. The cottage has just what everyone needs and wants for a comfortable, relaxing stay. We love the short walk to the great beach and we love the closeness to the sound and ocean. Hubby caught some great tasting fish and we had a great day kayaking on the sound. The cottage is always very clean and the decks and chairs are wonderful for early morning coffee or late night cocktails. I only wish we could have stayed a little longer and we are looking forward to our next visit. Be safe and have fun!

A Gem!
We love this cottage! This was our third year staying in SEAcret Treasure, and it truly is a treasure. Third house back from the beach, less than a hundred yards. Cheryl and Vernon do an excellent job keeping the home in tip-top shape, and Cheryl is so pleasant to work with. The house is spotless, and well cared for. The kitchen is well equipped, and all the furnishings are comfy. I can see down the road the bathrooms may need some updating, but that may be because I have a new bathroom in my home. Overall, this little gem is the best place for a couple or small family to vacation. The bikes and game room are an added plus. We used the bikes almost every day, as there are so many places to ride to, and there is a nice sidewalk for walkers and riders. Overall, just a really great place to stay!
