We live and work in the hustle and bustle of the D.C. metro area and had always enjoyed visiting the Outer Banks with its eclectic mix of activities ranging from familiar to unique, usually staying in hotels due to time and budget constraints. When the opportunity arose for us to purchase a classic beachbox in need of some TLC, we jumped at the opportunity to own a "bit of the beach" and to share it with others so that they can experience a piece of the magic that is the heart of the Outer Banks.

This beach house was perfect! We loved the location. It was nice to be centrally located near amazing restaurants and shops. The neighborhood itself was peaceful, calm and quiet. It's a perfect spot for people who love nature walks since it's near a walking trail that's right on the Sound! The house was clean and full of amenities. Can't wait to stay again!

Their home is a great place to stay and conveniently located. For the price it’s definitely worth it to stay here for a week.

Such a nice spot for my husband, myself and our 2 dogs to spend a week. It was the beginning of fall and it was beautiful. We all walked the path next to sound daily, and went to the beach to watch the waves and collect seashells. It’s an easy walk to the sound and just a hop, skip and a leap (very short drive) to the beach. The kitchen was stocked with cooking implements, but we went out to eat A Lot!
