The Treetop Cabin met all our expectations and more. It was as described for sleeping accommodations and the kitchen was well stocked for meal prep. Beautiful scenery and drive from town to the cabin. Of course the kids loved the fooseball table in the nice basement and we all enjoyed the cooler temperatures gathering around the table on the private deck space. We were seeking a week to rest and recharge and this place exceeded our expectations. The layout and amenities of the cabin allowed us to have quality together time when we wanted and also the ability to do our own thing. Clean, comfortable, bright and well stocked. The deck was a favourite place to be and the gate allowed peace of mind that my dog was not going to runoff after the many chipmunks. The master suite was fantastic but maybe a new mattress or a memory foam topper would take it over the top. The kitchen was a pleasure in which to cook but maybe bring your own knives if you are a serious cook. We had never been to Banner Elk and were pleasantly surprised at the easy access to great restaurants and sightseeing and all the locals we spoke to genuinely loved living there. We were all sad to leave and definitely plan to return as soon as we can.

This is the first time at Treetop and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. It was easy to work with the owners to arrange the week and the house is clean, has everything you need to enjoy the stay and has a beautiful deck and view. One of the nicest VRBO's we have rented and pet friendly! Having everything on the main level and the game area below is a perfect arrangement. And the location right at the outskirts of Banner Elk could not have been any better. Very much look forward to visiting again.
