The Place to go to GET AWAY.

We stayed three nights in this cabin at the end of August 2015. Cabin is beautiful and most importantly relaxing. It is low maintenance and very open. I liked that it was not cluttered with decorations and breakables. This is the place to get away from life's worries. I loved that my phone did not work there. That really helped me and my family to spend quality time with each other. We spent the days visiting state parks, water falls, and near by cities. We then came back to the cabin to play board games and watch movies. My only regret was that we did not make time to eat at the restaurant 2 min from the cabin (Aunt Sue's)-- love country road side diners. Owner and his family are wonderful people. My little boys enjoyed catching pan fish in the creek. They caught their fill and I enjoyed every moment of their experience. Would go back for sure.

Perfect family get-away!

Beautiful clean home in a relaxing country waterfront setting. It was perfect for our all-adult family get away vacation. We were together, but had our own space, too. Near beautiful parks and within 30-40 minutes of city amenities. Remote (read- no cell service or nearby groceries), but that was fine with us! The extra amenities in the home made our evening times there even more fun.Owner was very easy to work with. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

The process to reserve was easy and communication was great. We reserved for a family reunion and Father's Day celebration. We arrived to a clean and well equipped vacation home. The kitchen was well stocked with all amenities and supplies. It was located close to several state parks. We were about to visit something each day and back to relaxing evenings for grill outs and fishing. The kids loved the rope swing.

Beautiful cabin

We recently stayed at this cabin to meet a friend in South Carolina. It is a beautiful cabin and very well maintained. Very quiet surroundings and very relaxing. Loved sitting out side with a cup of coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. We were gone a lot during the day sight seeing so did not use a lot of amenities in the home that were provided. There is a beautiful winery also within a few miles of this cabin. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone staying in this area. Absolutely gorgeous and the owner, John, is very easy to work with also.

Excellent

Had a wonderful time. We never even had to leave the cabin. We spent lots of time in the hot tub and playing pool. It was a wonderful experience watching it snow over the beautiful river, right in the back yard. This area was very easy to get to. Our age range was Eight months to sixty two years of age. All of our experience was wonderful.
