Family Trip to OBX

This home was absolutely beautiful and was the perfect place for our family vacation. It is located in a very nice neighborhood and close to everything. Our family had a wonderful time visiting the OBX for the 1st time and everything at Sunset Watch exceeded our expectations. The owners are great people to deal with and helped us with a lot of ideas on places to see since we were there check things out for my daughters wedding on the beach for next year. This fantastic home made our family trip the best one ever! Thank you!

Great vacation home!

We had 7 adults, 2 kids and a baby. This was a great rental home! We had plenty of room and loved that each room had a bathroom with it. The kitchen is well stocked, probably one of the best we have stayed in. The high chair was a great extra. There were two baby gates, one that fits across the stairs which was a lifesaver. Great location! Quiet neighborhood, close to store, not too far from the ferry. Very clean and owners very helpful. We missed being oceanfront but for what we needed for this stay this home was perfect. If you are not set in being oceanfront, this is an excellent home. Oh and the game selection is amazing, as well as DVDs, books, puzzles.

Great stay!

First trip to the Outer Banks, and it won’t be our last! The House was clean and ready for us on arrival, the owners even sent us a welcome basket of coffee, wine and snacks! The home is a lovely place, perfect for a beach vacation. The Klub Koru made the week for my family and I. Being able to split time between the pool and the beach made for enjoyable days by the pool and the ocean. Avon is a great spot, not caught up in the glitz and glamor of some beach spots, the crowds were non existent the week we were there! We had inquired about the concierge service doing our grocery shopping to the owner, and it turns out they no longer provide the service. After reaching out to the owner about using a different grocery service, she took it upon herself to help rectify the situation. She got back to my wife and I that evening and she had set up a local store 10 mins from the house to do a trial shopping service for a us with a reasonable fee attached! The exchange went off without a hitch and it shows the lengths the owner is willing to go to, to make sure your stay is enjoyable! Great weather and a great time had by all!

What a great week with friends and family!

We had a terrific week at Sunset Watch. We were a group of 7 adults and 4 kids and found the space and layout to be just perfect. Having the master bathrooms was really convenient. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, and we had absolutely everything we needed for a great week. We enjoyed time in the lovely pool and hot tub. We also really enjoyed going to the beach club to access the beach, and using the pool over there as well when the little people needed a break from the sand and surf. It was a great mix of activities for everyone. Each person with us I think commented on how nice this rental was- all thumbs up!

This is a lovely, comfortable house... able to accommodate a large group easily!

We had 3 families, with kids ranging from 7 to 21+ and everyone was comfortable and able to have their own space. The sunset view from the top floor was amazing, pool was terrific, the kitchen was well equipped, and though we had 2 minor maintenance calls, they were both handled quickly and pleasantly. The Koru Beach Club membership was also a nice additional benefit that came with the rental. We took a few fitness classes, stopped in from the beach for a drink and a dip in the pool during the day, and attended the live entertainment in the evening.
The house was very clean, the AC worked well, the location was super convenient, yet not right along the main road. We saw lots of wildlife... cats, frogs, geese, deer and we even had a visit from the ice cream truck each afternoon.
We would definitely recommend this rental and would stay here again.
