This was our first trip to Holden Beach and we will be back! Penny was a wonderful host. There was a small issue during our stay and she corrected it right away. What The Shell has a great layout for fellowship and time together. Front and back porches are enclosed so you don’t have to worry about pets escaping (or toddlers). Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Well stocked with beach gear and kitchen tools. Short walk to what is now my favorite beach. Thanks for making our family vacation wonderful!

Great property, love the layout! Perfect for a four adults and 2-3 children. Nicely decorated and clean. Would definitely rent again and recommend!
