Beautiful cabin and beautiful land! Great amenities. We were able to enjoy the cool weather on the large wraparound porch. Location was perfect. 5 minute walk into town. Be sure to take the trail down to the river!
Will definitely be looking to stay here again next time we're in Banner Elk.

Usually when we go up to the mountains, we opt for a place in the mountains - but this time we stayed in town Banner Elk -- and I'm so glad that we did! It was so cool to be within walking distance of nice eateries, a nearby park, and Lees McRae. The place had so much character, merging a b&b feel with a cabin feel. It had upgrades, but not too much where it detracted from the charm. My favorite area was the covered deck where we drank our morning coffee and our afternoon wine (and sampled some wonderful cheese from a local vendor). The house is situated down the same road as several buildings associated with the school, but it has been kept well-wooded so that you have that privacy. The house was clean and well-stocked with everything that we needed - we used both the grill and the fire pit.

Clean, roomy, comfy cabin. Nice amenities and pretty views. Enjoyed the hike down to the river from the cabin and also enjoyed walking to downtown Banner Elk from cabin. Easy drive to other hiking spots as well.

Only stayed one night but the house was exactly what we needed. Marsha was very helpful and was available for all of our questions. Would absolutely stay here again!
