Quiet and secluded!
Very lovely, well kept home in a quiet and secluded area just outside of Bryson City! Loved everything about this place...felt right at home.

Comfy and Convenient Stay for Our Family Vacation
Contacted the owner about a VERY last minute vacation rental for July 4th week. Luckily he had a last minute cancellation and it worked out wonderfully for all of us!
Let me start by saying that the owner Roger is the perfect host! He was friendly, very easy to work with, and offered great tips about the area and things to do with our 10 year old son. He was super nice and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and that our vacation was enjoyable....and offered GREAT communication!
The home is located on a peaceful and quiet mountain with a great "country" feel. We loved the hot tub on the covered back deck, the fire pit, the covered front porch with rockers, the homey feel, and the comfy beds.
When we were planning our trip, we weren't quite sure which town we wanted to stay in and I'm happy to say Bryson City was the PERFECT location. It was VERY convenient to all of the activities we wanted to do as well as a super quick and easy ride to downtown, Cherokee, Lake Fontana, and Maggie Valley as well.
We loved the easy access to everything, the comfort of the house, the stress-free booking of the place with Roger, the pet friendliness, and the quiet and peaceful surroundings. We will definitely be back!

Home Away from Home = AWESOME!
My family and I have been coming up to the Nantahala area as well as the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for several years. I came across Comfort Mountain Getaway after looking on the internet for several hours. This house was the best place that we've rented in western NC! We all thought it was even nicer than the photos listed and everything was exactly like Roger listed in the description. Full kitchen, living room with great space, wifi, hot tub, and plenty of room to sleep the entire family. The other huge benefit for us was that they are pet friendly! Most places in this area do not allow dogs. No issue here, my mom brought her St. Bernard and her Westie.
The best part is the location - you're centrally located to everything! 10 min drive to NOC - Nantahala river rafting / hiking on AT. 15 min drive to Bryson City - great small town atmosphere with plenty of shops. 30 min drive to entrance of Great Smoky Mountains Natl Park.
Highly recommend this house!

A Definite Trip to Remember
I honestly do not know where to start. THE TRIP WAS SIMPLY AMAZING!!! From the communication prior to arriving to Comfort Mountain all the way to check out. The Trudeau are truly one of a kind people. My husband and I enjoyed this spacious and efficient home well. Everything was in surrounding area. The Casino, Soco Falls, Helicopter Ride touring the Foothills. Then to come back to a cozy, warm and comfortable home. Words can not express how much I loved this place. Thank you again Roger. We will more than likely be back..
