The accomodations and amenities were more than adequate! Even though the weather didn't offer as much time for golf, there was plenty of fish to catch in the well stocked and maintained catch and release South Toe River. The game room had something for everyone and was enjoyed by all (especially Ms Pacman). We are looking forward to returning to play Mt. Mitchell and enjoy a wonderful dinner at Albert's (great food and Albert and his family are very gracious). Thanks for letting us stay.

Just spent Labor Day weekend at the 12-tee lodge. Wish this were my home, what a great house. The furnishings and bathrooms are very nice, what a comfortable stay. My kids did not want to go back to our home. The 1200 square foot basement with a game room had something to do with their not wanting to leave. What a great area, the golf course is beautiful and the staff very friendly. Burnsville, a town 10 miles north, is a great stop and the hamburgers at the Hilltop restaurant located downtown are the best we have had in a long while. Relaxing, fun, great food, great home with all the amenities. Hike with your kids to Roaring Fork falls, and let them play in the cold water. We will be back and maybe we will try and buy it from our gracious host, but I bet she will not be selling this hidden Gem. Families you will not go wrong at the 12 Tee lodge.
