Quiet, Private, Perfect

We only had a couple of days to get away and Mountain View Cabin was the perfect setting to catch our breath and recharge the batteries. Close enough to get what you might need, but far enough away (and at the end of a road) to feel off the beaten path. Within close proximity to abundant hiking trails that we took advantage of, it was nice to come back to the cabin for a relaxing soak in the hot tub and a restful nights sleep. Bottom line is we plan to be back.

Beautiful view of the mountains and private.

All we had to bring was our food and clothing. this made for a very relaxing stay. Upon arrival we discovered that one of the toilets was not working; called Marsha and she had a plumber up the next morning. The hot tub was great for sore muscles and the fresh cool air along with the view of the mountains, made it even better. A short drive took us into the charming town of Banner Elk. There were plenty of places to eat and 2 major grocery stores close by. A very relaxing trip, we will be back!

Views from the back deck include Grandfather Mountain.

This cabin has everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable getaway. I would definately stay here again.

Great stay in Banner Elk

This was our second stay in this well-equipped cabin with an amazing view of the nearby mountains. We watched a huge storm come and go from the picture window in the living room after retreating from the deck when the rain began. Yes, we lost power for a few hours, but you don't need lights when you are sleeping! We'll be back next year again - this is a perfect mountain hide-away with soft beds, plenty of amenities and wifi to connect to the world when you must. It is a bit off the main roads, but totally worth it! We highly recommend this cabin for two couples or a small family.
