Our stay at this vacation home was very pleasant, everything was clean and in working condition. It’s a great location with the beach close by and other stores close too. It was organized and well equipped.

The home was everything that was described we truly enjoyed ourselves and Alan always returned my txt quickly. Wished we could have stayed longer. Will definately rent this home again. Thank you for a memory with my family.

Good home layout and proximity to the beach! Owner was easily accessible when needed! Cleaning could have been better, however there were no bugs! Just dust and dirt. Pool was clean and a great hangout during our unusually hot June vacation. Overall maintenance of the home could have been better.

We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at Ocean's Deelight. With all the grandchildren grown and half of them married, we needed a -lot- of shareable beds in rooms with doors—Ocean's Deelight was perfect AND perfectly aligned with our price range! There were thirteen of us, including the great-grandbaby, and there was plenty of room to be together as well as apart (we have a handful of introverts). The pool was a nice perq with the baby, and the hot tub was a lovely bonus for the grownups. The closet of beach gear was a blessing since so many of us had to fly over!
What did we do besides hang out at the house? Of -course- go down to the beach daily, but also visit the wild horses, see the Currituck lighthouse, go kayaking, hike Jockey Dunes, visit the aquarium in Roanoke (North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island), visit the Harris Teeter grocery just across Hwy12 (daily, because someone's always forgotten something), and oh those Duck Donuts (!!).
Alan was a lovely, flexible, responsive host. The house was beautifully kept, beds comfortable, kitchen well-appointed. Everything was as one would want it to be. This was exactly the celebration we'd wanted for my parents, and Ocean's Deelight was a key component of the week's success. Thanks, Alan!

My friends and I loved this house, it was so perfect for us! Alan was so great to work with and we couldn't have asked for a better week! We loved the pool and hot tub and the outdoor shower was an awesome touch. The short walk to the beach was so convenient and Alan has so many beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. available in the outdoor closet to borrow! Alan was awesome, any problems we had he was on right away! He is very easy to reach and very understanding. He was awesome throughout the whole process. Highly recommend this house! The price is worth it! (Especially for young groups!) We love you Alan!!
