What a fun week! The house is better than the pictures! It is absolutely gorgeous! The furnishings, beds and decorations were top notch. It had everything you could ask for and more in terms of dishes, glasses, blenders, pots, pans and extras. It was extremely clean (and I am picky). Jackie was easy to work with and answered all questions very promptly. We loved Surfside Beach! The beach is literally across the street (and it's a very quiet street). The private pool made a huge difference. On the days it was breezy at the beach we could hang out at the pool (which had many comfortable lounging chairs). During the day, we could walk via beach or sidewalk to the pier for lunch or ice cream (about 3/4 mile). As for other things to do, we spent our only rainy morning at the Tanger Outlets, we also went to Broadway at the Beach which has every restaraunt or attraction imaginable. We rode the SkyWheel in Myrtle Beach and shopped the many little trinket shops there. We fell in love with the Murrell's Inlet area which was a great place for happy hour or dinner. Part of our group went charter fishing one day and had a fantastic local guide. We also went on an inlet waterway airboat tour which was great fun for the kids. After exploring the entire shore of Myrtle Beach we felt that staying in Surfside Beach was the best place to be! We had two families and kids ranging from 4-15 yrs old and everyone agreed that there was something for everyone! We rented our linens through Meticulous Cleaning and they were very easy to work with and we were pleased with their service as well. We ate many meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. We did enjoy eating out a few times and I would recommend the Conch Cafe which was only a few miles away in Garden City. We had a nice dinner there with a very large group and everyone loved the food and service. Overall, a wonderful week and we would return to the Flamingo without hesitation! Thanks Jackie!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo! The house was well decorated and well maintained. The heated pool was a nice bonus. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the home was very spacious, as we had 15 people in our group. The owners were very accommodating! Highly recommended!!

The Flamingo was AMAZING! The house is even more spacious than it looks on-line... the pictures don't give you the full perspective of how much room you have in this house! The kitchen was equipped to accommodate every need with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans and utensils - as well as all the comforts of home (Blender, Coffee Pot, etc).
The views from the decks are very nice and the furniture is incredibly nice and comfortable - much more than we expected from a rental. The pool gets great sun in late morning and through much of the afternoon and has ample seating, with great lounge chairs and tables.
The quality of the furniture and furnishing in this house were top notch and up to date - I felt like I was visiting a family home versus at a vacation rental.
You are a quick walk from the seaside pier where there are some great restaurants. We enjoyed walking down to the pier for ice cream with the kids.
The beach is beautiful - clean, well maintained and family friendly!
