Good set-up for a get-together w/family and friends. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Very clean, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Owner was very helpful w/information, logistics, directions, etc. Well worth it.

Liked best: Location and atmosphere.
Liked least: Can't think of anything... would've enjoyed a longer stay!

Fantastic Lake Front Rental!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake front home on Lake Cherokee.

We were there over the Labor Day weekend and were expecting it to be very busy on the lake, to our surprise very little boat traffic nothing like would be found on Lake Keowee for a end of summer holiday.

The views of the lake and the mountains was fantastic. Spent a couple of early morning taking a kayak trip around the lake and met some of the neighbors on the water who were very friendly. Coffee and breakfast every morning on the large screened in porch. Sunrise reflections on lake and mountains were beautiful.

The house is close to all the parks and the many waterfalls in the area. We went up to the Highlands which is an easy drive away and we were so close to all the many area waterfalls which are numerous in the area.

The house is very well equipped and decorated you really would want for anything additional during your stay. The owners were fantastic and have everything organized. Rental process went very smooth and information provided really helped us enjoy the lake, home and surround area attractions.

If your looking for a beautiful vacation home to enjoy one of the areas quiet lakes and relax, this is the place to rent.

We absolutely loved this beautiful lake home. It was very clean, spacious, comfortable and so nicely decorated. The view was amazing! I spent hours and hours looking for the perfect place for our family vacation to create special memories, and this was it! We traveled with our 2 college age sons and we had something to do at all times. While at the house we enjoyed kayaking, dinners on the screen patio, playing pool and ping pong and relaxing to the sounds of nature. There are 3 levels to this home and plenty of space for 2 small families to enjoy. The nights were delightful outside with a perfect temperature, as we enjoyed the beautiful night time skies and stars.
The location central white water rafting, (We used Southeastern Expeditions in Clayton Georgia) several beautiful waterfalls, hiking trails, and to the awesome town of Greenville, SC. This home was so peaceful and we would love to come back one day.
Liked best: Morning coffee and quiet time on the porch and kayaking
Liked least: Not enough time!

Excellent Lake House

“Turn off the stress at your own private lake.”

Our family of type-A individuals needed a place to decompress after a crazy year. Found this home for rent on a private lake, with room to spread out, WiFi access, huge well appointed kitchen, and every amenity we could need. The owner is VERY easy to work with and handles any problems promptly. The property is gorgeous and has a beautiful view of the mountains and close access to pristine waterfalls.

“Excellent Lake House”

We rented for my wife's 30th birthday. We looked all over the Joccassee area before making a decision. We had eight in our party, and had friends drive in from all over to attend.

Our weekend couldn't have been better. The pictures really don't do this place justice. Great views of the lake. The house had plenty of space and was perfect for what we needed. The lake is quiet and beautiful. We made good use of the kayaks, ping pong table, and decks + porches. The house was very clean. Marc was really accommodating, hospitable, and thorough. Check in & check out were smooth.

I highly recommend this beautiful lake house!
