On arrival fresh flowers on dinning table. My husband and myself had a great week. Weather was wonderful. Overall everything was just as described and more. Would recommend this house to everyone who wants something not so large. Also very pet friendly!!! Only steps from the ocean.

I rented this cute beach front cottage for myself, 2 young children and grandma to enjoy for 1 week vacation. The owner was easy to communicate with through the VRBO website and privately through e-mail, phone and text, very personable and friendly. She gave accurate information about the lower unit cottage. We arrived late Saturday night and our keys and instructions were being held at a local realtor locked key box 3 minutes from the house, very easy. The cottage was clean and prepared with fresh flowers for our arrival. Each room had fresh beds and cleaned, prepared sheets were left for us by the Linen Service. We brought our own bath towels, beach towels and hand towels for bath and kitchen. Floors were clean and vacuumed, surprisingly no sand despite the beach front location, no bugs or odors. The kids loved the bunk beds in the first room, with 2 additional twin beds and the second room with a king bed. Plenty of shelf space to put clothes and suitcases. Furnishing were simple and beach themed ie. White rattan with Floridian print but comfortable and appropriate for the location. Multiple lights and outlets for electronics. Wifi available and good cell service. Kitchen was simple but well stocked with blender, toaster, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, etc. Fridge was clean and ready for us to bring our own food and supplies. Plenty of outside parking space even for large SUV, green area for playing ball. Great outside shower with changing stall. Outside patio on first floor to stairway to beach. Gorgeous flat, panoramic beach, tons of shells, waves and sun to enjoy. The pleasure of the beach front cottage is that you are literally just steps from the kitchen for a cold drink, bathroom for potty stop with young kids, etc. At the end of the day, you can easily bring beach chairs, umbrellas, toys to the stairs and leave for the next day of play. Plenty of local rental places for bikes and beach supplies. Nice local biking for leisure pedaling. Instruction for departure were clear and reasonable to accommodate. Lots of pros to this cute beach front cottage. Possible cons that did not effect us, but may effect others are: there will likely be upstairs renters during your visit, ours were nice and the kids played together, pet friendly units not great for allergy sufferers and lastly if you want granite counter tops, high end finishes and infinity pool, then this is not the rental for you. Simple Seaside retreat ! We will be happy to come stay here again.

Our family visited Holden Beach last-minute on a whim after looking for a beachfront house to rent. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a beautiful display of fresh flowers and a home that is literally on the beach. The house is the perfect place if you are looking for a beach vacation somewhere that is not a huge tourist attraction (ie: Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, etc.). The house itself has all the kitchen essentials for cooking as well as a charcoal grill. Additionally, there is one full bathroom (but no bathtub - which was a bit challenging for us since we had young kids). If the weather is good, you can literally walk outside and you are on the beach – you can’t ask for a better location. There is also a general store and ice cream shop within walking distance. If the weather is bad, be sure to bring some games or books because there is not a lot nearby to do otherwise. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with the house and the owner, Beth, is really great to work with. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us!

Enjoyed the place at 503 ocean blvd. Wind beneath my wings. Very clean, comfortable, easy access to beach. Friendly doing business. Will definitely be back again.
