Wonderful family vacation at Contentment on Holden Beach!

We had a wonderful week celebrating our 40th anniversary with our kids and grandkids! Beth was great to work with. She even had a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the counter when we arrived! She shared so much information about the beach house and also included info about restaurants and activities. We enjoyed a meal at Provision Co and picked up a dinner from The Cove, their scallops were delicious! It was very helpful to be prepared when planning our week. We had twelve in our group and two were babies so we pretty much stayed at the beach house the whole week. It was soooo fantastic to be right on the beach and be able to see the beach and ocean so well from the rocking chairs on the decks. We found lots of pretty shells and some very cool shark teeth. The kids also really enjoyed the pool. I highly recommend Contentment On The Beach and Beth is one of the best managers I’ve dealt with which makes the whole vacation experience a joy.

A perfect vacation home

First time we rented a house for a family vacation and we were not disappointed. The location of the house and the private access directly to the beach, along with beautiful views of the ocean from the wall of picture windows were amazing. Among other things, we enjoyed the surf, spending quality time together on the porch rocking chairs and having fun with both the adults and grandchildren in the new saltwater pool in the afternoons. The submerged shelf ledge in the pool allowed adults to sit and children to both walk along and jump into the pool. There was plenty of seating on the pool deck as well.

The house easily accommodated our family of six adults and four children under age seven. We were all able to have meals together at one large table and the open floor plan was a plus for keeping an eye on the children. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were ample in size.

The owners went above and beyond communicating with us both before and during our stay.

We definitely recommend this beach house and hope you enjoy making as many wonderful memories as we did!

Lovely home

This rental was just as listed. The oceanfront decks and pool were perfect for relaxing after a day on the beach. The house was nicely decorated and clean. Our family of 11 had plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to emails/texts. We would definitely consider staying here again :)

Family vacation

Perfect location, not a crowded area of the beach. Very clean. Beautiful views of the ocean with ample outdoor seating. The homeowners were friendly and easy to reach for any questions or concerns. Lots of seating around the dining room table and the kitchen island for family meals.

Great week in this lovely beachfront home!

We spent a lovely week at Contentment! The property was as described and the hosts were communicative and informative. The house was clean and kitchen stocked well with necessary dishware and appliances. The two bedrooms on the main floor had attached baths and 2/4 bedrooms upstairs had attached baths and the description of the property was helpful when we booked so we could plan for adult and kid rooms. We loved the view from the windows, the deck, the pool, and the easy walk out to the beach! We also really enjoyed searching for shells and had a great experience fishing with Ollie Raja Charters. The easy communication with the hosts and comfort of the house have hooked us, and we will be back to Holden Beach!
