It's was a great place that was kid friendly !!

The property was great!! The kids area was ideal for all the kids. The house was well decorated. The property is steps away from the beach. Joann was extremely helpful. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 out of 5 was the weather wasn't good the days we were there. So we couldn't enjoy the pool as much. There were body boards there, sand toys, it was stocked with good stuff for the beach. I would highly recommend it!! Pool area was awesome as well.

AMAZING!

I stayed at JoAnne and Pater house and it could not have been better. The house was beautiful, comfortable and had everything you could ever need. They got back to me quickly with all my questions and made sure my 50th was amazing. I hope to go back soon!

Amazing

appropriately decorated, tons of space and most importantly JoAnne is very responsive! They just put in a very nice saltwater pool! Will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Great Pool and Location in Large Historic Home

We truly enjoyed our stay at Life Saving Station #7 in Kitty Hawk, NC. This is a terrific location and house for large groups. We had 12 in our party and didn't use at least 6 of the beds that were till available. Perfect home for kids. There is a kids family room upstairs with Xbox and multiple TVs for the 1 raining day that we had, and a gathering room on the main floor where adults could hangout. The front deck looking over the water is HUGE and perfect for evening meals and gathering.....or sunning. The kitchen was perfect for feeding large groups buffet style, with granite countertops, double oven and dishwasher.

The newly installed pool behind the house was a toasty 85 degrees, which we truly appreciated as our weather was in the 60s most of the week. The kids spent hours and hours in there and had a blast. There are some sand toys available for the beach and lots of outdoor seating.

If we go back to NC, this is where we will stay. The owners were VERY responsive, and when we had a scheduling issue, they quickly answered the phone and worked out the issue with us. JoAnne was very accommodating and professional. Do not miss this house!!

Fantastic Home!

We were able to book a last minute vacation to this gorgeous home. The owner is great and very helpful. The home is in a wonderful location. It is easy to get to, close enough to attractions and things to do, but the location feels secluded. The views are unbelievable from all floors. The Captain's Watch on the third floor is a great place to watch the waves. We saw whales! Had a great time beach combing and learning about the fabulous history of the house and the area. Can't wait to come back in the summer or fall and bring the grandkids!
