This was the best vacation we've ever had! There were 17 in our group (9 adults, 8 kids) and there was plenty of room to spread out. The kids loved the bunk room, and everyone made use of the porches with their spectacular views. The house has such character and charm, and everyone enjoyed the history of it. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home - it made this vacation perfect. We hope to be able to go again next year!

What a treat! Magnificent beach home with real history. The owners have done a magnificent job making Lifesaving Station #7 into the perfect place for an Outer Banks vacation experience. It's like living in a museum...with ocean views and beautiful beaches at your doorstep. The place is completely updated with all the amenities, along with the special features that highlight the feel of the Outer Banks and the Lifesaving station history. The home is perfectly appointed...down to the authentic Lifesaving station china. We loved the gated deck with panoramic ocean views...the crows nest is a bonus! And, you can't beat the miles of open beach. Walking to the historic Black Pelican for dinner was a great convenience. We'll be back as soon as we can...we are fans.

If you're a history buff like we are, you would love this house which used to be a former life-saving station on the Outer Banks. I really like what the owners have done with the place. On the one hand, it's totally updated and comfortable with all the modern conveniences. But on the other hand, they've managed to preserve a lot of the original character of the life-saving station. This was truly a unique experience! And you can't beat the views. The ocean is right there from every window. You couldn't ask for anything more. Plus it's super convenient to all the restaurants, etc. We'll definitely be coming back. Thanks!!!

Good time had by all! A great, spacious house for family and friends to relax and enjoy. Great, unobstructed views of the ocean. Lots of dolphins and sea glass. We will be back!
