Beautiful Beyond our expectations!!!!

I took a group of ladies from my church to the beach for a weekend retreat. We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Kitty Hawk Lifesaving Station. I was expecting the house to be nice based on the pictures, but when I walked in and looked around the house I was absolutely overwhelmed! The owners did such a wonderful job of preserving and restoring the historical aspects and character of the house while updating it with modern touches and excellent design choices. The view from the house and access to the beach was great! We actually went during a storm and a possible looming hurricane (Joaquin). I corresponded with the owner numerous times during the 24 hours before our arrival to get info and advice on the weather conditions and how it might affect our stay. She was so awesome about responding to emails quickly and helping me with all of my questions. Several ladies in my group have already asked me to book this house again for next year.

Perfect House for Us!

We recently stayed in your home for a Women's Weekend Retreat! Every one of us fell in love with the house and it's charm instantly! It really set the stage for what was a magical, memorable weekend! We would like to come back as a group and with our individual families! Thank you!

Fantastic Stay

We had such a good time and can attribute much of that to the accommodations! Life Station 7 has a welcoming historical feel with modern conveniences, warmth, and charm. There were 16 of us (10 adults and six children) and had plenty of room to spread out and get away when needed. The kids loved being together in the bunk room - foosball in the game room was also a hit!

Great location with wonderful views from the two deck levels and Captain's watch. Loved that you can be out on the main deck and be in the shade while others are enjoying the sun. The hot water in the outdoor showers was a nice surprise as well.

The home is decorated so nicely, everywhere we turned we commented on the creative touches. Everything was taken into consideration and it comes across to those fortunate enough to visit.

We look forward to visiting again!

A perfect vacation getaway!

This is a house with a fascinating history and, while it retains all its charm, still features every modern convenience. The decor is gorgeous, the rooms airy and comfortable and impeccably maintained. Steps away from the beach and an easy drive from all of the local activities, it is the perfect vacation rental for anyone who wants to experience Outer Banks living.

The owners are a pleasure to work with and have thought of every way to make your stay a delight.

We’ve been lucky enough to stay at the house in the height of the summer season as well as in the winter and every visit has been a retreat. We’ve created so many special memories here and look forward to our next visit.

Go NOW and rent this house for your vacation!!! Best decision ever!
