Absolutely Amazing!

I had a group of 4 kids and my husband and I, we had all the room we could ever need. The creek was the highlight as you can imagine. The kids played in it the entire time. It was a bit cold naturally but for the youngans it didn’t bother them during the 90 degree weather. Our fur babies loved the outside deck complete with gates so that we could all relax!! Ms. Linda and Jorge literally thought of everything when stocking the cabin. I had left my blow dryer at home and after looking around they had one. The kitchen was so well thought out when it came to supplies, it even had frosted mugs in the freezer for a good cold beer. We had a few hiccups but it was quickly cleared up. All my family and friends are ready to rent this gorgeous property. Thank you for a relaxing and wonderful vacation!!

Gorgeous Smokies/Appalachian Getaway

We are a family of 4 with children 8 and 10 years old, and all 4 of us give this house 5 stars! We fished in the creek (and caught trout), walked to feed the donkey and the bull, cruised to nearby creeks (Fires Creek was a favorite), and both cooked and ate locally. We visited the local goat cheese maker, Donna, who was lovely. There is plenty to do in the area (Hayesville has nice local music, etc), and plenty of relaxing to do right there on Tusquittee Creek. It is a truly beautiful setting and terrific house. The house is better than advertised (pics don't do it justice), cozier and everything just as you would want it. Super beds, shower, bathtub, and anything you could want in the kitchen (hand mixer, birthday candles, plastic dishes for outside, etc). Linda is absolutely accommodating. Can't say enough good about this spot!! We arrived from Nashville via Cleveland but drove home via the Cherohala Parkway in order to visit Joyce Kilmer Forest on the way home and had gorgeous trips both ways.

True Serenity

My husband and I booked this cabin to celebrate our anniversary. It was just what we needed. Linda and Jorge have thought of everything you could need during your stay. There was fresh fruit, cookies, cider and fresh flowers at the cabin upon our arrival. The upstairs bed was very comfortable and restful. The claw foot tub was wonderful also. The house was immaculate, very well taken care of. The stream is mesmerizing and very relaxing. We arrived tired and stressed but left very relaxed, refreshed and renewed. Thanks Linda and Jorge for sharing your beautiful home with us. We hope to return soon!

Enchanting!

Enchanting! Our stay at Blackwell Branch Cabin could not have been better. Our family of five was deeply pleased with the privacy and beauty of the wooded location, and we spent hours just enjoying the sounds and sights of the creek. The house is fitted with every amenity a person could need, from an excellent master bed mattress and silky sheets to the Band-Aids and sewing kit we actually utilized. Owner Linda Gonzalez is a delightful person and superb hostess, a master of detail, who provided us with maps and information about Clay County and the town of Hayesville, as well as restaurants, hiking trails, and day trips to surrounding towns and sights. And fresh flowers and fruit on arrival! We hope to return soon.

This Place Was Spotless

The place was practically perfect. The place was spotless and all amenities were readily available. I'm sure we'll be back!
