Great Property- we'll be back!

Our family stayed at this lovely property the last week of July 2017 and enjoyed every minute of our vacation. Our group included 6 adults and 2 children and this house had plenty of space for everyone! Parking all of our cars was easy under the generous carport, the beach access was very close by via a short walk (important for our 2 yr old!), the house was well stocked- esp the kitchen and bathrooms and we loved the lack of "decorations"...nothing sitting around for the kids to break or lose. The bedrooms and closets are also a plus...spacious, comfy beds and linens, separate baths and balcony views for all rooms were great- no fighting to get the "best" room in the house. Thanks for sharing, Matt!

Excellent Property

We had made a reservation for this property last winter since we needed a "pet friendly" location for our two (relatively) small dogs. We were encouraged by the great reviews posted by other renters, as well as the photos and description on the VRBO site.
The entire process went well, with excellent communication in the weeks leading up to our vacation with property manager Bob B. But the communications just got better. Driving from Cleveland, OH, we spent Friday night in Greensboro. Then headed out to North Topsail Saturday morning. At noon that day, Bob called ME to say that the unit had been cleaned and was ready to move in. Our family has traveled to and rented in numerous beach locations in the Carolinas probably 25 times over the last 3 decades. Never had the rental agent contacted us to say we could move in early. That was so nice.

Anyhow, the property was as advertised. Easy walk to the beach, maybe 2 minutes top. Other nearby properties are single family or duplexes, so minimal beach traffic. A few rough edges on the finishing touches on the house, but we are here for the beach, it's not HGTV. The kitchen was fantastic, almost too much. It took all week to not remember where everything was! The only negative would have nothing to do with the property itself. If you want to go to the Food Lion or Walmart Market on route 50 (via the swing bridge), go early. Traffic is horrendous, especially on Saturday or Sunday. A new bridge is being built, but it does not appear that it will alleviate the weekend congestion.

Bottom line: an excellent property in a great location. Not sure if we will visit North Topsail again, but if we did, we would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Grandma at the beach

Loved my late fall week at Topsail. This house provided everything that I needed to be able to fix my meals when staying in. Kitchen is very well stocked with it all!!! Quiet location at end of street and only a few steps to the beach. Was able to take it easy and spend time on my hobbies. House was clean and ready when I got there..... towels waiting for a welcoming shower. Upper beach facing deck has great rocking chairs to sit and watch the waves. Had breakfast out there a couple of mornings. Property Mgr Bob was very helpful with answers to my questions.
Thank you for offering your wonderful beach home as a great rental. Throughly enjoyed it. Will be back in 2023!!!

Over and above

Staying at this duplex beachhouse is wonderful. The beach is just steps away ( across the street with NO TRAFFIC). Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with cups, glasses, plates, silverware. All the cooking utensils you may need, pots and pans and smaller appliances to boot!
Internet for working or social media and TV's in everyroom so you can watch what you prefer. 2 decks to enjoy the ocean and 2 more decks on the backside. Grill available. Beach chairs and body boards available for use!!! WIN-WIN. Will definitely be back.

Family Gathering for Vacation

Our family and dogs had a great time. The location is perfect, especially with the newly open beach access that doesn't have any steps to cross over, making it easy with a pull cart or bringing a canopy. And with the location on a dead-end street, there's little traffic ever to deal with. Another feature of the house that you don't think much about until it happens, is having the poor-weather entry. I watched the poor folks in the houses across the street, as they had to go out in the rain when they went to the trash, to the car or under the house. I also want to say thanks to Bob for being very responsive to our questions.
