Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing
We stayed for a week at this wonderful cottage. My husband, 82 year old father and 14 year old grandson and myself all fell in love with this place. Linda and Jorge made everything so easy and made us feel so welcomed. This cottage has everything you will need for a peaceful getaway. All we needed was food and we were set for the week. My husband loved the grill and we ate our meals on the all season porch. Our grandson claimed the hammock and dad loved walking down the lane and sitting by the creek. There are plenty of things to do in the area but just staying at the cottage and relaxing was the best. We had hummingbirds, a couple of deer and we loved hearing the creek sounds and birds singing. It was fun to watch the planes take off and land from the small airstrip.My husband enjoyed catching bass from the pond. We went to the old jail and Cherokee museum in Hayesville, the Bigfoot museum in blue ridge Georgia, the fun factory in Franklin North Carolina, and fishing and hiking at Lake Chatuge. We love to eat at the Hole In The Wall restaurant in Blairsville Georgia which is a nice little drive and has fantastic food and you can also go to Brass Bald Mountain which has spectacular views.Thanks again to Linda and Jorge for creating such a beautiful place inside and out for us to come to and relax. We hope to be able to stay again.
