Great house for a family getaway

We enjoyed our time at the Flamingo very much! It's convenient to the beach and into town. The layout worked very well for a house of adults and kids: space for people to convene and also have their privacy. Great kitchen and very well stocked with all the equipment you need - definitely much better than other places we've stayed! The sun room is a great hangout spot with comfy furniture and nice window light. And a great front porch swing! Highly recommend the Flamingo for families.

Great location

This was our second stay at the Flamingo. The cottage was conveniently located on the east end of the beach which we preferred, as it was a quiet and peaceful site. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch which always had a pleasant breeze. The cottage had all the amenities including a great kitchen. We did miss cable tv but hopefully we will have it on our next stay. Thank you Tony and Janet for providing a home away from home vacation.

Deceptively Large!

Flamingo Cottage doesn't look like much from the outside, but there is plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and we loved having everything labeled. The backyard is plenty for playing, and the decks were generously sized for the whole family. The only downside was the lack of cable TV, but the wifi was an added bonus and worked well. Right across from good beach access and on a quiet side street. We were very satisfied with our week!

Picture perfect!

Family vacation! Loved everything. The front porch was where we spent a lot of morning and afternoons. Loved the views and the swing. The sunroom was well used for game nights. We will all come back again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

Ideal for extended family with kids

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Flamingo Cottage. The layout was perfect for kids and adults. It was near a public access where you could also park & unload extra beach gear like umbrellas. The back yard had a grill & firepit. We made s'mores two nights around firepit. The kitchen was well equipped for any cooking you wanted to do. The sunroom provided a nice retreat for adults. We plan to come back next year. That says it all!!!
