Lovely home but noisy pool fence construction
The home was spacious and comfy for our family of 11. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pans and appliances. Large outdoor storage bin had chairs, boogie boards, and kids toys. Downside was that community pool is directly in front of the unit. Please be aware that pool is crowded all day, so sitting on the deck is not relaxing. Due to work in pool area, our grandkids couldn’t use pool all morning. But we still couldn’t relax outside due to pool deck rail construction from 7 am to past noon Monday through Thursday. The sound of the saw cutting metal was jarring all morning long; we could even clearly hear it in the house. So we paid extra for a first row ocean view with a pool and couldn’t use the pool or sit outside in the morning and if we wanted to sit outside once the pool opened, we were looking into the crowded pool. We feel that we should get a refund due to pool closure and 5 hours of sawing and pounding each day, but the owners would not even speak to us about it. Very disappointed with the high price of this rental and their lack of concern about the jarring sawing for hours each day. So much for our relaxing week.
